Microsoft made several new announcements regarding Windows 10 in June. The first that we will cover are the ways that new features will be rolled in to new releases of Windows Server. The second focus area is on Windows Autopilot.

Windows Server Continuous Innovation

Those of you who focus on desktop Windows deployments will already be familiar with Microsoft’s approach to rolling out feature upgrades on a regular basis, and now with Windows Server Microsoft has announced how this approach will be applied to Windows Server’s Core and Nano deployment options.

Windows AutoPilot

Windows AutoPilot is the latest capability being introduced to Windows 10 deployment scenarios, allowing even easier company enrolment of new devices by employees without going through wipe and reload scenarios. The Windows AutoPilot Deployment Program will enable OEMs, distributors, and resellers to link devices to an organisation to help simplify and customise the initial end user experience.
